Jade Murray
Jade graduated from Gray's school of Art in 2011 with a BA Hons degree in painting. Below she explains more about her work;
'My work relates to the commercial adverts that bombard us. Always claiming to be the 'Worlds Greatest', always failing to deliver, whatever they eagerly promise. Working spontaneously onto the canvas or MDF, allows me a freedom to make revisions that become part of the final image. Repetition is often used as an echo, with text or images being overlaid, overtime. In the paintings I attempt to express what is for me, the mundane and depressing nature of these promotions.'
