What's on at the Junction!

 'The Graduates' Preview Evening, Friday 6th August 6 - 8p.m.
  Show running until mid October.

  This is our second annual graduate's show which celebrates some of   
  the best work from degree shows around Scotland. The show will
  included printmaking, fine art, jewellery and ceramics by graduates   
  of Duncan of Jordanstone college of art and design, Dundee and
  Gray's school or art, Aberdeen.
 
  Taking part in the show are Anna Thomson, Audrey Dargie, Tessa
  Androutsopoulous, Kirsty Hendry, Diane Allan and Lyndsay Gauld. As
  well as Jeweller's Nicola Wyllie and Holly Wilcox and ceramist Anne
  Murray.

 Coming Up!

  NEOS 2010
  This year's North East Open Studio will take place from Saturday 11th   
  to Sunday 19th of September.
All 2010 entries can now be viewed 
  online and the new catalogues are available in store NOW!.
  
  This year we have 10 wonderful creative individuals using Junction as
  there chosen venue.
  We have Jeweller's Hazey designs, Aubeebop jewellery and Jewellery
  designs by Rachel. We also have photographer Heather Maslen, 
  printmakers Kendal Daly, Laura Martin, Ashleigh Norrie and Elaine 
  Thomson, as well as Painters Elaine Mackay and Ros Callander.

  We will also be taking part in the Aberdeen City Centre Challenge!
  This is a fun event in which you will have the chance to win prizes while
  visiting lots of wonderful participating NEOS venues with in the city.
  More details of this and how to take part will be announced very soon.

  Charity Show Success!
  Junction's First Charity Show in aid of Friends of ANCHOR! July 2010.

 
This show was held to both celebrate our second anniversary in 
  business and support the wonderful local charity, Friends of ANCHOR.

  During the show
30% of all sales generated from artwork on display
  and all amounts bid above the reserve prices on the special silent
  auction pieces would be donated to the charity. As well as funds raised
  through our guess the sweets in the jar and from the ANCHOR donation
  tins, trolley key rings and pins.

  Were pleased to announce that
£445.46 was raised in total. Which   
  we'll round of to an even £450.00.

  We'd like to thank everyone that generously gave there time and money
  to come and visit the show, it's very much appreciated by us all here at
  Junction and Friends of ANCHOR!
